A spectacular brunch had. Wonderful coffee, great soup and scones. Was a perfect start to our trip home down to ayrshire, we were fuelled and very happy. The scones were home made and we had the turmeric lattes, which we've found hit and miss most places, but here was a perfect balance. The bread portion was huge for the soup, but delicious. Very pleased all round and enjoyed the atmosphere and the plants. We even bought some of the local wares on display in the shop from local sellers. So lovely to support.

The menu board is quite simple but each and every dish that we ordered was well-presented with good portions. We had dirty chai and flat white, both were all very rich and aromatic.

Haven Coffee Shop is located on Brabster Street, Thurso. A must stop for coffee and/or breakfast after early ferry ride from Stenness only 4 minutes from terminal. As soon as entering the space, it does feel like a haven. The decor is modern and chic, the soft relaxing music combined with mood lighting puts you at ease, the choice of breakfast or cake fare is enticing. Coffee is excellent, staff lovely. There is also a studio area at the rear of the shops which displays a nice range of local handicrafts. Recommend this place

Great wee spot for some breakfast and a coffee. The staff in there are all really friendly and welcoming. I had the avocado, eggs and sourdough and it was so good. The mocha was great too. The girl that was making the coffees is a fantastic barista and put a lot of care and effort into making it. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful coffee shop, amazing food and full of hidden wonders. We had tea, coffee, cake, soup and the free water available to everyone. Everything was spot on and tasted beautiful. The coffee shop is dog friendly, so wee Maisy came with us and looked out onto the passing world from our lovely window seat. The coffee shop sells a few trinkets and local produce. We purchased two cards, a shampoo soap bar and a commerative magnet. Upstairs there is a huge children's play area for a donation of £5. Well worth it with the side and play items available. They even had a climbing wall! We would definitely recommend this coffee shop and go again and again.

5 stars all around for this lovely little cafe. 100% must try. The ladies that were in the cafe were so friendly and lovely. The food was so good. So much so that I didn’t get a picture of it and just tucked in. The atmosphere and decor in the cafe is next to non. So chill and relaxed. Great coffee and good cake…that is all most need. £40 for two coffees, two meals and two take away cakes
